Front yard covered with snow.


This morning is freezing with a temperature of -20C and feels like -30C due to the strong wind. Today we celebrate the Chinese lunar new year's eve. Food was ordered already from The One Fusion Cuisine Restaurant couple of days ago. We would pick them up in the afternoon. Julie also prepared some homemade recipes. It is a specialty comprised of: 
  • dried oysters, 
  • dried sea cucumber
  • fish maw, 
  • dried mushrooms, 
  • pork ribs 
Marinated with oyster sauce, soya bean sauce, some cane sugar, and Himalaya salt. Cooked in the Instant Pot for 30 minutes.  


The take-out food ordered from the restaurant is:
  • barbecued pork, 
  • green onion and ginger with lobster e-fu noodle, 
  • fish maw thick soup, 
  • stewed beef rib in red wine, 
  • braised abalone with oyster sauce 4 pieces
Dinner will be served around 4:00 pm.
